“The morning of the first September was crisp and golden as an apple.”

Hi there beautiful people,

So it’s that time of the year again: Autumn. Time for crisp breeze, cozy sweaters, books and tea. Autumn is such a sweet and inspiring season. Soon winter will come and this year will past so seize the day, man. Savour autumn before it fades away.

Okay enough with the cheesiness. This weekend I and my host family took a trip to Bar Harbor for a little hike to enjoy the very last bits of summer. We spent the whole Saturday hiking, driving up to Cadillac Mountain, walking around downtown Bar Harbor, eating delicious lobster roll (which tasted divine), popovers, homemade ice cream and chocolate peanut butter fudge. Bar Harbor and Jordan Pond are absolutely gorgeous I can’t remember how many times I said “wow” during the trip.

And here are a few photos that I took.

Hope you guys like them and please, have a beautiful day!

Linh

“He found himself wondering at times, especially in the autumn, about the wild lands, and strange visions of mountains that he had never seen came into his dreams.”
